Q & A
What are you most proud of in your public relations/ events career?
Having gone through the dot.com bust at a tech PR agency and the Wall Street crisis at a financial PR agency, I’ve seen how experts in their fields can navigate some of the toughest situations and come out on top.
Name one thing most people don’t know about you.
I’m an open book but some people might not know that if I wasn’t in PR/business I would definitely be a makeup artist or a florist. In fact, in junior high I had a small business decorating offices with my crafty floral designs.
How would your mother describe you?
What are your greatest strengths as a public relations practitioner?
I can think of solutions to issues quickly and creatively.
What is your favorite food?
I don’t discriminate.
Describe your perfect client.
The perfect client is one where there is mutual respect and an openness to ideas and opinions. Oh, and importantly – we can have a good laugh
What three hobbies or activities do you enjoy most?
Do people have time for hobbies anymore? Right now, I enjoy being a mommy to an almost 5 year-old, which doesn’t leave much room for anything else.
What’s your favorite part of the workday?
First thing. I am a morning person and am most productive in the morning hours.
Who would play you in the movie version of your life?
As a red-head who enjoys comedy, I’d cast Isla Fisher.
Are you cat, dog, fish, ferret or bird person? Or none of the above?
Definitely not a fish person. Too much of a one-sided relationship. I like cats. They always seem polished and I can appreciate the lifestyle and attitude.
What is your favorite quote?
“Vision is the art of seeing things invisible.” – Jonathan Swift
