Prosek's Development Program offers post graduates the opportunity to launch their careers. Our 4-month program is designed to train the next generation of Digital professionals. We are looking for self-starters interested in bringing best-in-class digital strategy and creative to life for our financial and professional services clients.

Our team is made up of writers, designers, strategists, analysts, aspirational TikTok stars, and wannabe Twitch streamers. We get to work with many of the largest and most recognizable global financial brands and help them navigate the always-evolving world of digital marketing and communications.

The Digital Apprentice will work as part of the Prosek Digital Team as they support internal employees and external clients with a wide variety of digital initiatives. The Apprentice's various day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to, developing data-driven reports, drafting social media copy, managing small social advertising campaigns, and providing general strategic council on digital matters.

Program Overview & Responsibilities

Real Work Experience

The Digital Apprentice will:

  • Work as a member of integrated client teams to drive digital and social initiatives such as content development, paid media amplification, analytics and measurement, social listening and community management
  • Write first drafts of social content, blog posts, analytics reports, internal and external memos, and client recommendations
  • Monitor relevant social media conversations and prepare reports for client review
  • Derive insights from digital analytics to inform campaign optimizations
  • Support the maintenance of social media content calendars to ensure updates
  • Stay on top of emerging trends and share them in a variety of ways inside and outside the firm
  • Support the development and launch of paid social campaigns, including platform and audience targeting, based on client marketing objectives
  • Demonstrate expertise in your client's business and industry and know your client's competitors
  • Produce client-ready written communications and have strong verbal communication

Required Skill Set

  • Digital Acumen
    • Understanding of the social media ecosystem and related best practices for incumbent (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter) and emerging (e.g. TikTok, Clubhouse) platforms
    • Demonstrated proficiency or interest in social media copywriting and digital content creation
    • Familiarity with digital tools ideal - we use ones such as Khoros, Spredfast, TalkWalker, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, SEMRush and others
    • Experience in or demonstrated interest in learning a wide range of digital specialty areas including measurement and analytics, organic and paid social media, PPC and digital display advertising, email marketing, digital reputation management, and influencer partnerships
    • Outstanding ability to research and synthesize information to create clear and polished memos and reports
  • Communication and Presentation Skills
    • Assist in development of presentation content and agendas
    • Leverage internal meeting opportunities to prepare and present information about a client's business, communications initiatives and program results to internal audiences
    • Clearly and articulately express yourself in team meetings and be comfortable presenting in front of a group
    • Exceptional communication skills

Professional Background

  • Completed BA/BS degree by the start of the program
  • Strong interest to work within a regulated field such as financial and professional services
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Advertising or a related field preferred
  • Experience at a traditional advertising, communications or marketing agency a plus
  • Strongly encouraged (but not required) to have relevant digital, social media, or creative internship experience
