NEW YORK – May 10, 2017 - Prosek Partners, a leading independent public relations and financial communications firm has announced that political communications strategist Chris Byrne has joined the firm as Vice President.
Most recently, Byrne served as Communications Advisor to both the Presidential Transition Team and the Donald J. Trump presidential campaign, working closely with the candidate, campaign manager and other senior members of the staff.
Prior to the election, Byrne served as Partner of Capitol Media Partners, an international communications, public affairs, and digital services firm, opening the firm’s New York Office. Before that, Byrne was at Fox News Channel working as a Senior Producer of “Hannity.”
Byrne was also the Special Assistant to the White House Press Secretary, working as the principal aide to President George W. Bush’s chief spokesperson, Dana Perino. “Chris’ recent experience inside the federal government and in the cable news industry gives him a unique understanding of how the press operates as well as what the public is interested in,” said Jen Prosek, Founder and Managing Partner at Prosek. “His ability to share insight and perspective on Washington today will be of great value to our clients. In addition to expanding our offering in the public affairs space, Chris will add to our media training capabilities. We couldn’t be more excited to have him join the Prosek family.”
Added Byrne: “Prosek Partners’ reputation in the industry is truly impressive, and I’m excited to join and work alongside an incredibly talented group of people. I am looking forward to helping build out the firm’s public affairs offering, leveraging my experience for a roster of world-class clients.”
