CJP Communications Changes Its Name to Prosek Partners to Support Continued International Expansion

NEW YORK, NY – CJP Communications, a leading independent public relations firm, has changed its name to Prosek Partners, effective immediately. As the firm has expanded beyond its U.S. footprint, with an office in London and a network of international partners, the firm needed a name it could employ around the world.

“We have experienced considerable growth both in the U.S. and internationally,” said Jennifer Prosek, the firm’s founder and CEO. “More than 40 percent of our domestic clients tap us for work outside of the United States, and 20 percent of our clients are non-U.S. companies. To support our global client base, we wanted a single name we could use worldwide.”

The company chose the name Prosek Partners because it is distinctive and also reflects the long-standing partnerships the firm has created over its 20-year history - partnerships with clients, the partnership of senior leadership, and the firm’s collaborative culture.

“Our new tag line, ‘Unboxed Communications,’ says it all. We bring fresh ideas and unconventional strategies to clients in the financial and business sectors,” said Prosek.

Prosek Partners also has a new visual identity, logo and website: www.prosek.com.

In 2011, the firm grew 20 percent and is ranked No. 5 among U.S. financial PR firms, by revenue, according to O’Dwyer’s annual survey. It has been an Inc. 5000 fastest-growing company for each of the last three years. The firm’s mergers and acquisitions expertise is demonstrated by its consistent inclusion on the mergermarket League Tables of PR Advisors, where for all of 2011 it ranked No. 11 in the U.S. and No. 20 globally.

Prosek Partners is distinguished by its entrepreneurial culture. Its “Army of EntrepreneursTM” model helps attract and retain talented professionals. Employees develop an “owner’s mindset” and delight clients with top-quality service, unconventional ideas and flawless execution.

Jennifer Prosek’s book, Army of Entrepreneurs, about the model and how other companies can integrate its principles, was published by AMACOM, the publishing arm of the American Management Association. The book has won praise from deans and professors at Columbia Business School, Wharton, Yale School of Management, and INSEAD, among others.
