CJP Communications Wins Six American Graphic Design Awards

Awards recognize four websites, including CJP’s own site, and print collateral

NEW YORK – December 5, 2011 – Creative Director David Zamba and CJP Communications (CJP) recently captured six American Graphic Design Awards from Graphic Design USA magazine. The awards, which are judged by a nationwide panel of distinguished design professionals, are among the most prestigious in the graphic design industry.

This year, CJP’s Creative Services team took home four awards for website design and two for print collateral.

In the web design category, CJP was recognized for work done on behalf of a diverse group of clients, as well as for its own site. The award-winning designs were for clients MRV Communications, a global optical communications equipment supplier; NGL Supply, LLC, an integrated natural gas provider; and The Chapin and Bangs Company, a steel service center.

“The web awards underscore the successful expansion of our Creative Services group, including the addition of Senior Graphic Designer Aaron Steinfeld, who brings extensive web knowledge to our team,” said Creative Director David Zamba. “Our goal at CJP is to help clients capitalize on the power of online branding by creating visually distinctive websites.”

In the print collateral category, CJP won awards for the international business school INSEAD’s executive education brochure, and a series of corporate fact sheets for MRV Communications.

For nearly five decades, The American Graphic Design Awards Program, sponsored by Graphic Design USA magazine, has recognized excellence in design in two dozen categories including web, print, advertising, identity programs and packaging. Less than 15 percent of the more than 8,000 entries are chosen as winners by a jury of the nation’s leading creative directors. Award-winning pieces appear in a special December 2011 awards issue of the magazine.
