NEW YORK, February 4, 2013 – Prosek Partners, a mid-sized, independent corporate communications firm with offices in the US and UK, today announced strategic developments designed to further serve the needs of its growing global client base. To support these growth initiatives, Thomas Rozycki has been promoted to Managing Director and Brian Schaffer has been promoted to Practice Leader, Transaction Services.
Rozycki joined Prosek Partners in 2005 to expand the firm’s investor relations capabilities. Since then, he has also expanded the firm’s social media offerings, increasing brand awareness and effectively promoting corporate positioning for a number of Prosek’s heavily regulated financial services clients. Rozycki‘s new role will include additional firm-wide operational responsibilities and business development efforts, in addition to his responsibilities as a senior member of the firm’s crisis communications team.
Prosek also announced that Brian Schaffer, who joined the agency in 2007, has been promoted to lead the firm’s investor relations and transaction teams. Prosek has been providing transaction support – including M&A, hostile takeover attempts, proxy contests, IPOs and privatizations, among other areas -- to its existing clients for more than 10 years. As a result of the increased demand for transaction and other corporate governance-driven communications needs, Prosek has formalized the practice group, which includes the firm’s most senior leaders with significant expertise in transactions, investor relations, corporate governance and crisis/issues management. With Schaffer’s appointment, the firm will now actively seek to secure mandates outside of its existing client base.
