New York, NY – February 27, 2023 – Prosek Partners, a leading integrated marketing and communications firm, announced today that Michelle Mandara, former Head of Broadcast Communications at Meta, has joined as a Managing Director.
During her five-year tenure at Meta, Mandara led various teams across Consumer, Corporate and Broadcast communications. She designed and launched the go-to-market broadcast strategy for the Meta rebrand and worked closely with the executive team to develop 75+ consumer and broadcast campaigns annually to promote the Meta brand, including Mark Zuckerberg’s first interview in the Metaverse with CBS Mornings’ Gayle King. Tasked across the brand’s portfolio of products (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp and Reality Labs / Oculus), Michelle developed and scaled the Company’s key global communications and executive media initiatives. She also built a centralized global corporate broadcast function where none had previously existed, allowing the organization and leadership to deliver proactive, compelling storytelling moments alongside reactive issues-based reputation management.
At Prosek, Mandara will oversee many of the firm’s big brand accounts, with a focus on consumer, technology and broadcast media. She will also work closely with Prosek’s digital and influencer teams to help clients deliver integrated consumer campaigns.
“Michelle’s impressive background in both technology and consumer, combined with her infectious personality and entrepreneurial spirit, will be a great addition to the Prosek team,” commented Jen Prosek, Founder and Managing Partner at Prosek. “Over the last several years, consumer media has become a priority for many of our financial clients, and Michelle’s experience driving integrated PR and digital campaigns, will be invaluable as more and more brands evolve their approach to reaching the end consumer.”
Prior to her time at Meta, Mandara spent over a decade in consumer public relations at Golin, Lippe Taylor, DeVries Global, and Madison Square Garden, working with various brands including Nintendo, Revlon, Allergan, Tupperware and Keds.
“I am elated to join Prosek and build their consumer communications practice,” said Mandara. “An agency that prioritizes the evolution and growth of their clients’ communication strategy is exactly where I want to be. I’m thrilled to jump in and get started.”
Mandara holds a bachelors degree in Communications & Rhetorical Studies from Syracuse University.
