Amanda Silverstein is a Managing Director on Prosek Partners’ Human Resources team, where she focuses on employee experience and long-term career development. With nearly a decade at Prosek, Amanda works closely with employees and their managers to support career growth, navigate issues management, and ensure individuals are staffed on client work that aligns with their interests and expertise.
Amanda began her career as a public relations practitioner before transitioning into human resources at another boutique PR firm, bringing a practitioner’s perspective to her work in employee development and engagement. In addition to her day-to-day partnership with teams across the firm, she leads several of Prosek’s larger professional development initiatives, helping to shape programs that support learning, engagement, and retention.
Amanda holds a BA from Colgate University and an MS in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from New York University. She is deeply committed to fostering an environment where employees feel supported, challenged, and positioned to do their best work.
Taking a leap and joining Prosek at a very chaotic time in my life. I was a new mom, had less than 1 year of HR experience and managed to convince the Partners to take a chance on me.
I’m Canadian and therefore, a lover of hockey.
She’d say I’m the perfect daughter. Just kidding. She’d probably say I’m like a Golden retriever. Playful, loyal and loveable.
