What are your greatest strengths as a marketing practitioner?

Listening and being empathetic go a long way, and I work hard to make sure that all of my clients always feel heard and understood.

Name one thing most people don’t know about you.

I’m an Australian citizen. I also have been in an inordinate amount of major natural disasters – earthquakes (’89 San Francisco), a tsunami (’04 Thailand), and a hurricane (Sandy).

How would your mother describe you?

She recently described me on Instagram as “such a good guy.”

What is your favorite food?

My wife’s world-famous spaghetti supremo (just bolognese, but my son called it supremo and it stuck).

Describe your perfect client.

One of my clients once described me as her “partner-in-crime,” and I think this is a good analogy for an ideal client relationship — willing to put our heads together, open to advice, direct with feedback.

Who would play you in the movie version of your life?

Ben Affleck on a good day, Ben Stiller on a less good day.
