Beth Leri

Managing Director

Beth Leri has over a decade of experience developing media relations and communications strategies for financial services, B2B and economic development clients in the U.S. and abroad.

At Prosek, she handles the account strategy and serves as global coordinator for a number of the agency’s largest clients, including Bloomberg and Silicon Valley Bank. She brings extensive knowledge to the international investing, insurance and investment banking industries and their media landscape given her experience building public relations programs for companies such as Nasdaq, Royal Bank of Canada, Munich Re and Lloyd's of London.

Her successful track record of developing strategic messaging and securing coverage in high-tier media has been fundamental in implementing communications programs for her clients.  

Prior to joining Prosek, she led the financial services practice at Spring O’Brien, managing clients such as MF Global, the Washington Research Group and New Zealand Trade & Enterprise. Before Spring O’Brien, Beth was at Intermarket Communications where she worked with the Russell Indexes/ Russell Investments, Deutsche Boerse/ Eurex, the Swiss Bankers Association and Charles Schwab.   

Beth holds a B.A. in Communications and Business from Penn State University.

What are you most proud of in your (public relations) career?
The relationships I’ve built with my clients, colleagues and the media.

Name one thing most people don’t know about you.
I’ve devoted a great deal of time to building rainwater harvesting systems in Mexico to provide families with access to clean water.

How would your mother describe you?
Adventurous and always planning my next endeavor before the current one is over.  

What are your greatest strengths as a (PR) communications practitioner? 
The ability to adapt and work with a range of personalities in different industries. And I have a knack for securing results under pressure.

What is your favorite food?
I’m addicted to avocados.

Describe your perfect client.
A client who is open to new ideas and trusts our input and advice. The best clients view Prosek as a true extension of their team.

What three hobbies or activities do you enjoy most? 
Traveling – you can never be too well traveled (or too well read, for that matter). Rock climbing. And I have a personal goal of seeing live music once a week.

What’s your favorite part of the workday? 
The time spent with my clients and colleagues when we’re brainstorming strategies and ideas.

Who would play you in the movie version of your life? 
Perhaps Sandra Bullock – a brunette with a big laugh.
