The walls were bare now. Boxes stacked by the door, labeled in
a rush. She stood in the middle
of the room, listening to the echo.

Across the street, in a lit window,

At the bus stop, a couple
studied a map, planning
their first trip together.

Not everything changes at once.
But little by little, next arrives.
