Prince Andrew has faced a PR disaster this week after giving a broadcast interview to investigative show, Newsnight, over his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein. After offering botched answers regarding his alibi and a supposed temporary inability to sweat, he has stepped down from royal duties and has been sidelined by numerous organisations where he served as patron. With the UK elections fast approaching (Dec 12), the Labour Party has announced its most radical manifesto (policy platform) in a generation. Among other policies, Labour plans to raise the minimum wage from £8.21 to £10, hold a second referendum on Brexit, and put the UK on track for a net-zero carbon energy system within the 2030s. The Conservative Party currently holds a 16pt lead over Labour, which continues to face accusations of anti-Semitism and an unclear position over Brexit.
