- Prince Andrew has faced a PR disaster this week after giving a broadcast interview to investigative show, Newsnight, over his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein. After offering botched answers regarding his alibi and a supposed temporary inability to sweat, he has stepped down from royal duties and has been sidelined by numerous organisations where he served as patron. - With the UK elections fast approaching (Dec 12), the Labour Party has announced its most radical manifesto (policy platform) in a generation. Among other policies, Labour plans to raise the minimum wage from £8.21 to £10, hold a second referendum on Brexit, and put the UK on track for a net-zero carbon energy system within the 2030s. The Conservative Party currently holds a 16pt lead over Labour, which continues to face accusations of anti-Semitism and an unclear position over Brexit.
