Highlights from the 2025 Wyoming Blockchain Symposium

From New York to Singapore, I’ve had the privilege of attending conferences all over the world. At Prosek, we partner with clients to make the most of these moments – facilitating on-the-ground engagement at both major industry gatherings and client-hosted events.

Our team just returned from supporting our client, SALT, at the second Wyoming Blockchain Symposium in beautiful Jackson Hole, WY. What began last year as a gathering of decentralized finance executives alongside the Fed’s annual meeting, has quickly become one of the can’t-miss events on the crypto calendar.

Here are a few of my favorite PR moments from being on the ground:

1. Coordinating a Broadcast Bonanza: With an A-list speaker lineup and the right producer relationships, we secured both Bloomberg and CNBC recording on site. I had the pleasure of coordinating beautiful shot locations (can’t beat this view), curating guest lineups and handling coverage asks. An early, chilly morning wake-up was well worth it when we kicked off Day 1 with a live Squawk Box segment – setting the tone for the rest of the week.

2. Man on the Street Videos Are My Passion: While it might be a little late to start a career in broadcast journalism, no one at the conference had more fun than I did filming a series of “WOman on the street” style videos. We filmed more than a dozen interviews with high-profile speakers and sponsors, capturing their perspectives on industry trends and conference takeaways. While the professional insights were excellent, the most telling answer came when we asked each participant about the event’s vibe. The consensus? And I quote, “Immaculate.”

3. Behind the Scenes with TRIP US: With both hosts attending, we produced an in-person podcast episode for The Rest is Politics: US right from the conference. The set – complete with boom mics and studio lights – transformed a hotel suite’s living room into a professional production space. Sitting in on the full recording (and seeing the final product with minimal edits) was both a highlight for me, and a win for the production team.

4. Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: It’s a cliché, but it’s true. Our clients come to us because they want an extension of their team – trusted hands they know care as much about the success of the event as they do. The team rolled up their sleeves and got stuff done. Supporting at check in? Yup. Getting that VIP a special piece of swag? Of course. And cheers-ing with a drink at the end of a long week? We wouldn’t miss it.

Conference weeks may be long, and travel can be tricky, but nothing beats seeing clients happy and events succeed. Add in a few standout PR wins, and the work feels even more rewarding. See you in Jackson next year!
