Our Path to Prosek from PA to AAE series continues with Olivia Zibaitis’ Q&A.

What has your experience at Prosek been like so far?

My experience at Prosek has been nothing short of incredible. In the last four months, I have learned more than I ever could have imagined, and I have gotten the chance to work alongside the best people who have empowered me to grow, ask questions, raise my hand to take on new tasks and continuously strive for more. There’s still so much to learn and I could not be more excited to be at Prosek where I truly feel supported as I grow as a communications professional.

What was the PA program like for you?

The PA program was such a great learning experience that was challenging but so rewarding. From day one, I felt so welcome and integrated within my teams, allowing me gain exposure to the world of PR and financial communications. My manager, media buddy and teams were all so supportive and pushed me to be my best. As such, I gained confidence as a communications professional and learned so much about media relations, the media landscape, client communications and more!

Why would you recommend others join the PA program?

The PA program is the perfect way to start a career in PR because it is structured in a way that truly aids development. The program allowed me to gain real world experience and receive professional training through sessions led by various leaders at the firm. On top of learning from senior Prosekians, being able to apply my learnings from the sessions while working with my teams was such an invaluable experience that propelled my development.

Please tell us 1-2 of the top things you’ve learned at Prosek thus far.

Prosek has taught me the importance in pushing myself to ‘get uncomfortable.’ I’ve come to understand that stretching and challenging myself will only contribute to my growth—whether it be as simple as reaching out to a colleague to grab coffee or raising my hand to take on a new task. It can be daunting to ‘get uncomfortable’ but the flat culture at Prosek has absolutely empowered me to do so, contributing to my growth, both personally and professionally.

What has been your top moment at Prosek thus far?

My top moment at Prosek is the first day I went into the New York office. I met fellow PA’s, my team members, my manager and new faces as well. It was so great to meet everyone virtually while working remotely, but it was truly incredible to meet the people I had been working with for the past few months in person! The office was buzzing with excitement, allowing me to truly feel and witness the culture at Prosek in a new way.
