Jaimee Pavia is a Senior Vice President in Prosek’s Los Angeles office. She has nearly 10 years of experience advising Fortune 500 companies and managing day-to-day communications for a portfolio of clients across venture capital, private equity, fintech, and financial and professional services. She creates and implements public relations strategies, overseeing thought leadership campaign execution for firms including Lovell Minnick Partners, Oak HC/FT, Colossal Biosciences, QED Investors and One Rock Capital Partners.
Prior to joining Prosek, Jaimee spent four years at Sloane & Company, a corporate and strategic communications firm, where she engaged in proactive media relations and brand building programs, as well as public affairs campaigns, for clients including New York Life Insurance and the Edison Electric Institute. She also has a background in crisis and issues management, advising the Ad Hoc PREPA Bondholder Group and other major creditors in Puerto Rico’s restructuring.
Jaimee graduated from Cornell University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication.

What are you most proud of in your communications career?
I’m most proud of the trust I’ve built with both my clients and my colleagues.
Name one thing most people don’t know about you.
I’m a big 80s movie/pop culture fan. Dirty Dancing is my all-time favorite movie.
How would your mother describe you?
I was actually visiting her when I wrote this and she said, ‘You light up a room.’
What are your greatest strengths as a communications practitioner?
I am open, honest and direct. You can’t always count on me to tell you exactly what you want to hear, but you can count on me to offer well-informed, sound counsel with your objectives and priorities in mind. I’ll be in the trenches with you working through the challenges and in the winners’ circle with you celebrating the successes.
What is your favorite food?
Eggplant parmesan, preferably made by my Italian grandmother.
Describe your perfect client.
I love clients who are passionate about what they do and who like to collaborate to come up with creative solutions. When a client brings a challenge to the table and we can pair my communications experience and counsel with their industry and company insights to solve a problem, that’s a great day.
What three hobbies or activities do you enjoy most?
Tennis, Peloton and Travel – my girlfriends and I take an annual trip in pursuit of checking off all 50 states.
What’s your favorite part of the workday?
I really enjoy the opportunity to meet with both clients and colleagues in person, particularly ones that I began working with during the pandemic. After countless Zoom calls, nothing beats interacting live and really getting to know each other.
