Jake is a Senior Vice President at Prosek Partners, where he has spent the entirety of his 13-year career. He has extensive experience in designing and delivering strategic counsel for a range of clients across the B2B and B2C sectors, including re/insurance companies, retail and commercial banks, and an array of professional services and fintech firms.
Jake works with corporate communications leaders and their teams to build, promote, and protect their company’s brand. A self-proclaimed generalist, he specializes in delivering strategic cross-channel campaigns that drive tangible business results. He has expertise in developing brand narratives, building media and thought leadership campaigns, and advising in crisis scenarios.
In addition to managing accounts, Jake is the Internship Program Coordinator for Prosek’s Fairfield, Connecticut office, where he manages on-site recruiting, hiring, and mentorship processes. He also helped create and helps manage the company’s PR Development Program, Prosek’s executive training program for college graduates.
Jake is a graduate of Penn State University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations alongside a minor in Sociology.

What are you most proud of in your career?
Seeing campaigns that I helped design be brought to life is a rush that all PR people chase. But beyond that, the proudest moments of my career have come from my role in mentoring and helping others discover a rewarding career in the field. The best feeling is helping someone find their path in PR and giving them a job offer.

What are your greatest strengths as a communications practitioner?
Aside from the basics – writing, listening, being clear-headed - I’ve always valued scrappiness.
What is your favorite food?
A home-cooked steak and seared broccoli
What three hobbies or activities do you enjoy most?
Spending time with my kids, playing sports (softball, volleyball, hockey), and trying to learn new home projects to DIY
