Path to Prosek: From PA to AAE - Alice Lim
Assistant Account Executive Alice Lin continues our Path to Prosek series. 
Could you please share 2-3 sentences on your general experience at Prosek so far?
My experience at Prosek has been absolutely incredible. The community is so welcoming and supportive of your growth, and I have had the chance to work with some of the most talented people I know. I have been empowered to come forward with creative ideas, rather than simply following directions. There is still so much to learn, and I am truly excited to pursue my career at Prosek, where I am accepted and supported.
What was the PA program like for you?
The PA program was one of the most eye-opening experiences. Not only did it provide me with the skillset to navigate this industry, but it also allowed me to gain exposure to the world of public relations. From day one, I was able to immerse myself into everything from client communications, media relations, and more.
Why would you recommend others join the PA program?
The PA program really equips Apprentices with all of the tools necessary to navigate this industry. It is a program that pushes you to ask questions, gain skills and really immerse yourself in public relations and financial communications. As a PA, you are given the chance to work as a public relations professional and have access to the vast amount of experience and knowledges that senior Prosekians are more than happy to equip you with.
Please tell us 1-2 of the top things you’ve learned at Prosek thus far.
Ask questions. There is no such thing as a dumb question, and this is the only way you will learn. It can be scary to ask questions and feel lost, but I learned that it is the only way I will be able to grow, and Prosek is more than happy to provide guidance along the way.
What has been your top moment at Prosek thus far?
My top moment at Prosek thus far was the first day that I went into the Boston office and met other Prosekians. It was so exciting to meet everyone in person, after months of working virtually. I truly felt like I was at the right place. It was exciting and comforting at the same time to be surrounded by people share a similar passion.
