NEW YORK – December 19, 2017 – Prosek Partners, a leading independent public relations and financial communications firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nadia Damouni as a Senior Vice President. Damouni joins from Edelman’s Financial Communications & Capital Markets division, where she advised clients on communications surrounding mergers and acquisitions, shareholder activism and corporate governance matters, as well as worked with capital markets firms to help them drive proactive brand building programs.

At Edelman, Damouni worked closely with executives at many of the firm’s global and regional corporate accounts — including leading technology, consumer, financial services and healthcare companies — to create and execute investor relations and media relations programs. Damouni previously spent over a decade as a financial reporter, most recently at Thomson Reuters.

At Thomson Reuters, Damouni served as corporate board correspondent and team leader for mergers and acquisitions, covering governance of publicly traded boards, shareholder activism and executive management succession planning on S&P and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Damouni was editor of the Americas for Dealreporter in New York, where she led a team of 10 reporters and wrote market-moving articles about M&A, regulatory, antitrust and recapitalization strategies.
Damouni has been nominated for several journalism awards, including a Gerald Loeb Award, and has moderated and presented on dozens of panels around the world, including the World Economic Forum in Davos.
