Judy Lain brings over 20 years of work experience in the communication industry to Prosek, with a strong focus on team management, crisis communication, and online reputation management.
Prior to joining Prosek, Lain ran her successful consultancy, working with leading clients and communication agencies in Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Before running her consultancy, Lain was the Chief Marketing Officer for Wesgro, the Western Cape’s regional economic promotion agency. She spent a large part of her time unpacking real-world challenges impacting the destination from a reputation perspective and developing simple, measurable digital strategies and solutions to correct the online narrative.
Judy is currently completing her Master’s in Digital Communication and holds a post-graduate degree in Marketing and Advertising.

What are you most proud of in your career?
Having the opportunity to lead, and work alongside, 30 inspiring public and private sector colleagues during the height of the pandemic. We developed digital tools and platforms to help small businesses in South Africa navigate the uncertainty the Covid-19 pandemic caused due to the implications of regulations.

The ability to understand the heart of a complex problem and provide a practical solution.

Spending time with my family, running, going to the beach, and mountain biking.
