Behind any great company is a team of technology pros who are essential to helping the business operate, grow and succeed. Here at Prosek, our tech gurus work hard every day to support our 350-person firm and provide us with crucial resources across three continents, three countries, and 10+ states. They also run our cloud file server, which has over 12.8TB of storage and contains more than two million(!) files.
Plus, there’s the fact that – in 2022 alone – they hosted more than 31,000 Zoom meetings and helped us resolve countless technical difficulties.
Each member of the team is truly one-of-a-kind, and we’re proud to work with such a talented and fun bunch.
With that in mind, we wanted to give others the opportunity to get to know this elite squad, so we asked Ted, Alex, Roger and Andre to share their stories—in their own words. Here’s what they said:
Ted Sebolsky, SVP, Information Technology
On his career journey so far: I joined Prosek three years ago. Over the last 24 years, I’ve held many technology roles at companies spanning across Investment Banking, Dotcom startups, the nonprofit sector, fashion consulting and more. To me, the best part about my path in technology has been the opportunity to solve unique tech challenges across many diverse industries.
On life outside of work: I live on Long Island and have two daughters that are 15 and 12 years old. As some of my colleagues know, my favorite hobby is flying small planes, but I also stay active playing softball, going to the gym and traveling.
Alex Nevskiy, IT Systems Manager
On his career journey so far: I joined Prosek over three years ago after working at several financial firms before that. I was born in the Ukraine, moved to Brooklyn when I was six and have been living in New Jersey for the last three years. I’ve been interested in tech ever since I was little, so pursuing a career in the technology sector was a natural and – so far enjoyable! – path.
On life outside of work: I love anything with wheels and an engine. While cars are my favorite, I also have licenses to operate boats and my motorcycle. On top of that, I’m a big DIY person. I enjoy finding things around the house to DIY and tracking down YouTube tutorials to help me get the job done.
Roger Danh, IT Support Analyst
On his career journey so far: I joined Prosek one year ago, the same month that I moved to New York from San Diego, CA, where I worked as a Junior System Administrator for UC of San Diego. In the mornings, you can normally find me in the kitchen at the office brewing a cup of specialty pour over coffee.
On life outside of work: I live in the beautiful neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights. When I’m not hard at work, I’m out playing flag football, trying new restaurants and speakeasies and traveling with my significant other.
Andre Browne, IT Support Technician
On his career journey so far: I’m the newest member of Prosek’s IT team after joining last August. In my role with the firm, I get to bring my colleagues solutions to everyday issues and help make their days run a little smoother. I decided to pursue a career in technology after serving as the designated “tech support guy” for my family growing up. That unofficial title inspired me to keep learning about technology—and the more I learned, the more passionate I became about it.
On life outside of work: When I’m not replying to my colleagues’ tech inquiries with "All set," I love to watch and play basketball, along with video games (Valorant is my current favorite). I live in New Rochelle. Before moving to New Rochelle, I was splitting my time between living in the Bronx and the Poconos up in Pennsylvania.
